It's October, and it's getting cold here! lots of layers and beautiful sunrises! This month i have stepped into a short season of being A Student!! I am participating in an MLD a ministry and leadership development school. We are a school of 20 students who want to gain more knowledge about what it means to lead without being the boss... to bring people alongside you in the mission not just show them the way but do it along with them. It's a dynamic not taught much we usually see leadership in the context of "being the boss" or "being in control" but really healthy leadership is doing first, than teaching and being willing to get dirty right alongside your team! My ministry role during this time is assistant to the President of the UofN (Our university through YWAM)! I am helping visualize and conceptualize some projects that need to be brought to life visually... so i'm utilizing by gifts in design to make that happen. I am as well as running daily errands for Marcus (Who is our base director as well as the President of the UofN) freeing him up to be able to invest his time in other areas. I am honored to be in this role and am loving having such a role that makes the whole base run smoother.
